My professional background

Passionate about working with children, adolescents, families and their greater communities.

I grew up in South Africa, where I completed my undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Psychology. I then went on to complete my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) at the University of the Witwatersrand.

After obtaining my PGCE I taught for one year and then went on to complete my Masters degree in Educational Psychology at Rhodes University. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society which awards membership to academic achievers who graduate in the top 15% of their year.

I also worked at Headway Brain Injury Association in South Africa, as well as, Ububele (Therapy, Assessment and Training centre in South Africa). I consulted and worked part time at a Children’s home in South Africa (Yenzani Children’s Home) where I assisted the children in a therapeutic manner. I also became a board member where I offered my experience and knowledge to the organisation as a whole.

I then successfully managed a private practice in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In December 2020 I emigrated to the Netherlands where I am continuing to support children, teenagers and families with both therapy and scholastic assessments. I am registered with NIP.
